Elementary Acting Class

K-5 grades

The priority of this class is for students to have fun while growing to love the art of theater. This is a great program for kids to learn all there is to do in theater. Students will play acting games and use scripts to cover the basics of stagecraft. Students will also learn stage directions, improve reading skills, and learn how to be seen, heard, and understood.

Acting Class 1

Ages 10+

The priority of this class is for students to learn and hone their vocal techniques, movement, character development and other forms of acting. Progression is measured is performance and participation. This is a great class for beginners or actors who have been in a show and need to freshen up skills or be challenged. Come with a notebook for notes and a monologue.

Mature Acting 1

Ages 16+

This class will be a comprehensive study into advanced forms of acting and a look into the themes found in the works of Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, William Shakespeare , and Neil Simon. Students will study themes such as war, relationships, past issues, etc., their effect on theater, and vice versa. It is recommended that participants come prepared with a notebook and a monologue. 15 and younger may apply but acceptance is at the instructor's discretion and parental consent.

Christmas Mini Musical

K-5

Students will learn to sing, dance and act in this 90-minute performance class while working on a one-act musical to perform for Christmas. This is an opportunity for our newest performers to join us on stage. Each rehearsal starts with a vocal warm-up and and game. Then it is on to work, learning lines, singing songs, and working on choreography. Students will also learn stage directions, good backstage and audience matters.

Join us Saturdays from 5-7PM
Cost is $85.00 per month
